Bay City Marine Services, Inc.

Bay City Marine Service, Inc. (Bay City) began operations in 1977, providing crew boats, supply vessels, tugs, cargo barges and lift barges to the inland and offshore oil and chemical industries along the northern Gulf of Mexico. Bay City expanded its operations internationally and provided lift and work barges for oil related operations to the Cameroon and Middle East in the late 1970’s and 1980’s. During the 1980’s down turn in the oil industry, Bay City sold most of its marine equipment and expanded into heavy equipment rental providing much of the equipment for the construction of the United State’s first deepwater oil port. Texaco, Marathon Oil, Shell, Murphy Oil and Ashland built The Louisiana Offshore Oil Port (LOOP).

Re-entering the marine services market, Bay City joined forces with Mutual Shipping Corporation (Mutual) of New York City USA, Piracus. Greece, and Keiv, Ukraine. Bay City is now an affiliate of

Mutual, which gives Bay City access to ocean going shipping vessels on a worldwide basis. Mutual’s President, Elias Kulukundis, has over 50 years experience in shipping. Mutual/Bay City can satisfy your shipping requirements from containers and various forms of rolling stock (automotive, tractors, combines, bulldozers, etc.) to bagged and liquid cargo.
